Self injecting flu vaccine

I'm ALD and get the jab with my pharmacy.

For my OH we're going to buy one, so my question is to those who self vaccinate, themselves or partners, do you angle the needle or go straight in?

I'm a diabetic so used to injections of myself.

Get the pharmacist to do it. Only costs a couple of euros.

Manonthemoon2: going to buy one for self vaccination? I don't see this possibility mentioned by the French authorities:

Unless the abbrevation ALD covers one of the above mentioned professions.

I bought one for Biggles at the pharmacy once when he'd lost his free prescription. No questions asked.

Our doctor said we could administer the flu vaccine ourselves.
Not being brave enough, we got the pharmacy to do it, cost €6 each.
