My OH doesn't yet qualify in France as he's under 65. As he is a cross border worker his employers advise getting it, and they will pay.

In that case down to the pharmacy to buy the vaccine. Get them to do it or the infermerie. You have nothing to lose and the costs will be minimal for his employer.
