The lengths some people go to, to avoid getting a jab - I don't know why he thought he'd get away with it. :roll:

I would have thought a fake certificate would have been cheaper and easier - as you say, strange some people's logic.

Mind you, in the UK G4S fitted a GPS Tracker to a criminal's false leg - so maybe these things are getting so realistic he thought he would give it a go?

I think most anti-vaxers are just chicken-shit and like children are afraid of needles. Hence the stupid conspiracy theories to justify their decisions.

Just as an aside, and talking of false / fake items, I was looking on EBay uk yesterday and got a bit sidetracked, ending up on a page that dealt in false driving licences and a whole host of other official documents, not only for the UK but worldwide. How on earth do they get away with it, admittedly most of the contacts were of west African origin.

@Char :lol: :lol:
The only fake things I've dealt with personally were forged bank notes (the Bank of England called them "things" :lol: ). Some are quite good but on handling them and looking closely, you can see they're not real.

A quote from a letter to the editor of a Dutch newspaper this morning, a quick translation, pretty much sums it up IMO.

I am afraid of needles especially as the Covid ones seem bigger than the flu ones - and my booster is on Tuesday morning - but I do wonder how apparently otherwise sensible people can fall for anti-vax line.

Is it a general mistrust of authority - the government says "do this" so we must not do it?

Is it a lack of understanding of the science - at least as far as vaccines are concerned?

But let's not forget, conspiracy theories are not confined to Covid vaccines, or even vaccines in general.
