I heard this morning that, despite the Serbian government and Djocko's family getting all het up, Serbians lining up for vaccs in Belgrade, condemned his stupidity and seeming self-styled untouchable status.

Lucky Serbs getting a chance of a Sputnik V for victory.
Me myself I am already getting anxious about the Moderna messenger RNA booster next Thursday.

I understand that tennis players with the Sputnik V vaccine have also been barred from the Australian Open (unless they quarantine) as the vaccine is not recognised.

A Russian friend won't touch it - says it is not produced properly and the samples submitted for approval don't match what is injected.

What was your first vaccination? It seems you get a worse reaction if the booster is different from the original doses.

@ Niemeyjt, my first vaccination, Pfizer: in the afternoon a bit tired, went to bed early, next morning okay. Second vaccination, Pfizer again of course: two days tired, not too sharp. Booster jab mid December: Moderna (50% dose), only very mild side effects, sore arm, in between # 1 and # 2.

Everyone is different and there's no particular reason why some people have side effects and others don't.
We had 2 AZ followed by Pfizer with no after effects from any of them.
Other people we know had 3x Pfizer, AZ + Pfizer, AZ or Pfizer + Moderna etc - some had side effects, some didn't. It's just the luck of the draw.

Sputnik and Sinopharm are not recognised here but people coming in who've had them are given Pfizer or Moderna (depending on what's on offer that day) as a first dose.

I had a reaction, especially with a rash and pain down my arm, after my booster which was Pfizer. The previous 2 were AZ with no side effects. I did feel off colour for around a week with the booster.

I'm looking to book 4th vaccines this week for March

Have to agree Blaze. OH and I had 1st and 2nd with Pfizer - no ill effects for either of us. Booster was Moderna. No effect on me but OH was off colour for 36 hours. It must be all but certain that we even had the same batches. Very much down to how individuals react.
