I suppose there's only so much money in the world and for the rich to get richer they have to take it from the poor some way or another.

It is quite sickening to think that people have more money than they can ever spend while there are people homeless and starving in the world.

And sadly, that's exactly why I don't give to charities.

The rich may on paper be richer but this is largely because their assets get revalued, not that they have actually done anything, so these figures are a bit useless and probably put out by the Guardian, aka BBC!

Money begets money and the more you have, the more it generates. It isn't stealing from the poor, it's just an investment fact.

When the Icelandic banks crashed years ago, one of the doggy charities, think it might have been Prodogs, lost absolutely millions they had stashed away, only gave a few quid a few months ago to charity, never before.
