This is the health service's replacement for the Dossier Médical Partagé which had a very poor take-up. I feel for all those who dutifully uploaded hundreds of documents to that, only to have it scrapped and have to start again. Unless the info will be seamlessly and miraculously transferred to MES. Haha..this is France, right

@Pathca You are right about it not happening easily in the UK. My friend is Head of Application Training and Data Quality for one part of the NHS and a couple of years ago her & her team had one hell of a job transferring records onto a new platform taking weeks to do it and then finding numerous problems that went with it to sort out. Sorry I've wandered once again!

Okay it’s from 2013 but wouldn’t that money have been useful in the pandemic

I don't intend to take it up. Haven't read into it in detail but got the impression you might have to sign up to to enable cancellation.
There didn't appear to be anywhere that you could just click "no thanks".

I received it and dutifully followed the instructions until the last page when it said that an email had been sent with a once only code to get access to it. It said the code would be valid for 15 minutes. After 2 hours of searching for the email I gave up. The next day I got no less than 3 emails, all with different codes and all supposed to last for 15 minutes. All failed, so I gave up again.
I mentioned this to my wife's 'aide de toilette', a very pleasant but rather forceful Scottish lady, and she said I should keep trying till I told her that I was now blocked from the site for trying too many times. I also asked her what use it was but she did not have a convincing answer.
On a similar theme I tried for a long time to get access to my wife's Amelie account, without success. It was suggested that a recent rule change means that individuals cannot share the same email address. So I opened a gmail account for my completely technophobic wife but still met a brick wall. Perhaps they object to us using the same Livebox? Tant pis.

I asked my IT/French grammar guru, who has lots of experience of the French health service having been confined to a wheelchair since his teens.
He has security concerns about the site and the possible spread of data and doesn't think it will be of much use.
I think we are going to say 'no'.

We both had our DMP's created by our pharmacist in 2018, because our aged CV's didn't show the information to do it ourselves. The chip on my CV finally fell off it last year and I got a new one. Reporting it lost or destroyed seems to be the only way to get a new one; I tried 2 or 3 times without success on the grounds of its being worn.
Creating DMP's didn't seem worth the bother, as every time I looked at them they showed only the prescriptions filled by our pharmacy, which I think are automatically transferred from their system.
I don't think that most doctors have the time or the staff personpower to add details every time a patient sees them, and I was certainly not going to spend my time doing it.
We see our MT's frequently enough that they would be able to inform other parties of relevant details in case of an emergency, and a phone call to them would probably be quicker and more informative than probably having to get our written permission and then accessing a website via a probably very busy IT system.

OH's code arrived by email this morning. Mine hasn't arrived yet! OH doesn't have a CV with photo so had to rummage in his wallet to dig out his card as they want the serial number from the back of the card (not often I get chance to have a rummage in his wallet and the moths do need releasing from time to time
)
PS meant to say it's a no from OH and it will be a no from me.

Just done mine this morning. close on 15 minutes no email so "retour" and ask for SMS instead of email and it came straight through so I've now done it.
