I have always hated this time change nonsense, the biannual merry go round of all that doesn't change itself. The cars are the worst, Berlingo and Partner, both from the same stable but each with its different barely comprehensible method and I always have to study the manual each time.
So, as I have a satnav which has a clock even when it doesn't have a signal and changes itself, throughout this winter I didn't bother to change the time in the Partner but learned to just knock an hour off if ever I looked at the display. Looking forward to the summer and being back on track I relished the prospect of the cessation of the mental arithmetic. 3 weeks ago it went into the dealer for its 20,000 service and what did the bastards do? They put the clock back to winter time.

I don't have a dog any more so my dog speak is a bit rusty. But the twenty years we had them they never had a problem with the change in time, they were French but I'm not sure what difference that makes. The cats seem to get a bit confused to start off with, especially in the Autumn - the chickens don't go by time anyway they go by the light so they're always a pain.
It was a bit difficult explaining to an 8 year old girl at the weekend that it was bed time even though the sun was still up.

On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

More off than on. I'm understanding what it feels like to slowly slip away. Whatever muscle I use aches like hell the next day and if my life depended on doing a day's work I wouldn't last the week.

Be grateful you've made it to 'old age' a lot of people don't, or won't get the opportunity.

A good point, but it depends on what sort of life it has been. Some work hard and get nowhere. Some get lucky and manage to avoid most of the downsides. Every morning I think about those poor souls in the Ukraine.
