Like Sparkle, it gave me a good laugh (Happy birthday, @Sparkle )
Anyone who's owned or worked with sheep knows that if you don't shear them, they can end on their backs, unable to get up due to the weight of the wool.
Perhaps PETA think that sheep should just be field ornaments ....
