Do you know what UK rules are - I am eligible there for 2nd booster there - but I am not keen to be on two systems and to have to upload certificates from one to another (though the French TousCovid app did load my Swiss certificates).

The NHS website is probably the best bet for the rules pertaining to the community. I am not that familiar with that side of things as I sort mine through work and am not up for number 4 despite being front line NHS with co morbidities

Just looking at NHS site - looks like the age is 75 for "spring booster" - which I assume means 2nd booster - unless there are other circumstances.

That’s how I read it family members, one with compromised immune system one with cancer on serious sh!t treatment have had number 4
Bear in mind that certain people in the UK had three for the initial course and number four was their booster, that could be why they refer to it as ‘spring booster ‘

As I understand it .. here the 4th jab for 60-79 year olds is usually 6 months after the 3rd dose or 6 months after having caught Covid BUT there are fluctuations depending on how long after your 3rd dose you caught Covid. Your age can be important too and what co-morbidities you might have.

niemeyjt wrote: Fri Jul 01, 2022 10:09 am Just looked at paying for a 2nd booster here as deemed "too young" - but they also say they only give boosters 4 months after a bout of Covid - not sure that rule applies in France?
The 4th jab is (generally) given 6 months after the 3rd jab. If, however you catch Covid before your 4th jab is due, you have to wait for 6 months as it's reckoned you will have gained some protection.
The term "booster" is a bit confusing and not a term we use here because it's simply a 4th dose of the vaccine.
We haven't been vaccinating for about 3 months now so I'm not actually up with the hunt on the latest recommendations re vaccinations. It's best to ask you MT of pharmacy who does jabs. That said, advice can vary ....

From what I've read in the last few days, the booster (rappel) situation will be clarified shortly. At the moment, it's available for 60+ and the immunosuppressed (AFAIK). As Blaze says, your MT of pharmacy are the folk to consult for reliable info.
