Paying for your car - BMW style

I really cannot understand why anyone living in temperate (!) Europe would want these fripperies in a car. Not sur that even buying big BMWs etc can be justified these days.

If you have leather seats and wear short skirts you will be glad of heated seats :D

We had a one of those big square Volvo estates many years ago, it was a fantastic car and heated front seats were standard. They were great during the winter, and for loosening up our backs. We'd have them again like a shot.

As for fripperies, today's cars are full of them, many of which we don't use or appreciate. I've never actually liked leather seats but that's just personal preference (we don't have them ...)

There's nothing wrong with driving a large car nor any need to justify it to anyone else !

Larger cars tend to be more comfortable and fare much better on bumpy and uneven road surfaces.
As regards upholstery fabrics.................
consider getting into a 60's convertible with the top down wearing shorts or a skirt on a hot summer's day. Most of them had vinyl seats. :o
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

They were pretty horrible, weren't they. I used to sit on a towel !!
But the problem is there today with all the plastic seating around the place - waiting rooms, salles de fête, some restaurants ... yuk ! I hate the idea of getting up looking as if I've wet my knickers .... of course one can always perch on the edge of the seat
