Yesterday I posted on here today I am réanimation.
A cardiologist in Vannes found a myxoma- a benign tumour in my heart IOn Weds I cane to the cardiac unit in Rennes. Tests were done including an eco graph by passing a tube down my esophagus. The tumour was the largest they had seen. I said it was because I’m English. It was life threatening and urgent and a surgeon forfeited his evening and operated open heart surgery last night. This afternoon I am writing this

Wow, that sounds quite serious. So glad it was benign and you seem to have had good medical/surgical care.

Wishing you continued healing and good health.

All of the above sentiments from me too, Rabbit. Delighted that medical system dealt with you so rapidly, as needed.
Don't overdo things now.

Was the benign tumour found by chance Rabbit, or as the result of ongoing investigations into a problem? Either way, you no doubt feel most fortunate in having a surgeon give up a night out to perform such urgent surgery. Hopefully you never knew you were even ill and can now concentrate on just getting better!
