Somewhere for all our lovers and owners of classic vehicles to chat about and discuss classic vehicles in France. Also where members can share their recent adventures in their vehicle in and out of France.
The cg and CT were mentioned earlier in relation to cars over 30 years. My golf is just 30 years old.... I've started to consider applying for VDC status, but is the process complicated? costly? beneficial?
TIA
I quite like a nicely turned out classic tractor although one thing stuck out like a sore thumb to me on the Bolinder above.
The cheap-ass modern plastic crimp connectors on the wiring. They should have been better quality all metal ones installed with a hex crimper.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

All but one of my cars are on carte grise normale and will stay that way. The CT every two years doesn't worry me, I have a guy who understands older cars. My concern is that at some point CGC registered cars may go back to some limitations/restrictions; it would be easy to implement. For me I don't see any advantage.
thx Curtis. I've had mixed reviews of the pros and cons locally. I'd like to find out more about the process and mither of it on the web before I decide.
