Rotten luck continues

After my first chemo cycle last week, I was making good progress. Until 4 am Wednesday morning. I got up to the bathroom, then wham.

Ended up on the floor for 2 hours waiting for a Dr to give me pain relief as it was too painful to move me.

26 hours after the fall I had surgery to pin the femur. It was a long & difficult surgery and I lost a lot of blood, so now I'm having a transfusion.

😪

Oh, how absolutely bloody awful. Is there anyone with you now? I can't express how much I feel for you.

Oh good grief .. how awful. Not exactly what you were hoping for.
Will the chemo idea be shelved in the light of this ?
Meantime best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Bugger. That really is rotten luck, MOTM2. I hope the pain is disappearing, so that you can get on with your recovery.

That's awful, MOTM2, and the last thing you need at the moment. I hope you are not in too much pain now.

Oh no ,so sorry to hear that,a friend of mine who is on on going treatment for breast cancer, got her leg through her handbag strap and fell getting out of the car, shattering her femur, she had hers pinned and now you wouldn’t know she’d had a problem
