I agree these people have been brought out because of their help to the military.
Others have spent years working to help British society and having spent years trying to get papers, hence the uk national health is near collapse

Sorry I am not getting this ,the NHS is in near collapse because people who have worked to help them haven’t got papers?
No the NHS is in a mess (and it is) because of years of underfunding,not just the Conservatives, the pandemic , Brexit has had an effect

I'm not going to argue[mention]Pathca[/mention] we obviously look at things differently.
Just to say where did most of nhs nurses come from?
Same with diliveries, lack of drivers.

I am not going to argue either,I will say that I work in the NHS and have done for 14.5 years ( this time) I left an extremely busy hospital less than 48 hours ago. The majority of nurses are locals,we have a few that have come from India,a lot of those have been here a long time,recently we have had a few come through on an adaptation programme where they can convert their registration to a UK one.
A few years ago we got a lot of EU nurses came to work with us most soon left, for reasons not to do with Brexit. Those who stayed were helped to get naturalisation by the trust so they could continue to work

Thats very good to hear.
My info is from friends in the nhs in kent, very bad there.
Notably one African family who had worked for the nhs for many years then sent back despite other friends in the Salvation Army fighting for them to stay.
Result back in Africa they were killed.
