Roald Dahl's books unsuitable for today's readers?

I wonder if children are allowed to go to pantomimes as we did where the leading man is a woman and a man plays the Dame. Or have the wokist crusaders decided that panto is offensive to some people ?

Perhaps some of you might suggest what they are fit for? I suggest the detailed instructions for preparing a bowl of cornflakes on the back of the packet!

What does "feel included" mean ??
As for the description "snowflake" .... why put a silly label on someone because of their views, even if you don't agree with them ?

I think it has more to do with the fact that everyone is different - like snowflakes.

Maybe, but it's used today as a derogatory term. The OED (Oxford English Dictionary) says "It's not a new word, but has a new other meaning: someone who is "overly sensitive" and "entitled."

Most ‘black’ people are not black, anyway, but range from very dark brown to very pale brown, so what word to use, African? Doesnt work either.
