Spicy chicken drumsticks, small jacket spuds and an endive, red pepper and fennel salad with a coriander leaf sort of asian inspired dressing. Not that I have ever been to any country in Asia, but I have read recipes. Not that I follow them in detail

They keep selling 'farcie des legumes' quite cheap at my local Intermarché (yes I know it is probably meat towards the end of its shelf life) so as I had a large can of kidney beans knocking about , I purchased a large pack and made what I shall describe as a 'chilli con conky' . Not bad at all for something thrown together on a whim and a prayer.

Tonight it's omelette, oven chips and salad
Omelette with a few lardons, mushrooms and a hint of spice & cayenne

Oven chips 'cooked' in our air fryer have rekindled our love of egg & chips. Quick & easy meal when we can't be arsed to cook anything serious & no messing about with smelly hot oil is a bonus.
Mccains standard oven chips are our favourite so far, take about 14 mins to cook & are nearly as good as chippy chips as I remember 'em :)

I use McCains too. I used to buy Intermarché own brand but they never crisp up. Then McCains switched to pea rather than wheat flour so we tried them - much better
I don't have an air fryer thingy, ours go in the oven but as I was cooking cake and flapjacks just before I wasn't heating it just for the chips

Two porc d'echines with some spices on them in the air fryer, two sweet potatoes also roasted in air fryer and some fresh steamed spinach tonight.

Steak, entrecote, plus salad, followed by pear and almond tart with creme fraiche. I know, my arteries will suffer but what the hell.

Any frozen 'left overs' I can find in the freezer to reheat.
I'm 'home alone' for a week & can't be bothered to cook for one.
