Yes it was, but with the clever (for its day) Electromatic clutch. The clutch pedal was operated hydraulically sensed by accelerator position. Very little changes in 2 years. From memory, the headlights look a bit different, the V-grill is the same but I don't remember those styled grills either side of it. Was yours still 3-speed plus overdrive?
That old Packhard was stuffed full of quirky features. The top of the range model had air conditioning, not bad for 1941.
