Autumn Colours
A forest walk yesterday when it was just wet in the air rather than pouring with rain

Yes, we have wild mushrooms all over the garden. No idea if they are edible. Not going to try.

Round here during the tempête, a lot of leaves have been blown from trees prematurely before they had time to turn, and more importantly, before the sap stopped rising. This could have effects on their growth in the spring.
However, those in more sheltered areas don't seem to have suffered so badly.

Round here during the tempête lots of trees have been blown from the ground as they had too much wind resistance because of their leaves. That'll deffo effect their growth.Blaze wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2023 12:45 pm Round here during the tempête, a lot of leaves have been blown from trees prematurely before they had time to turn, and more importantly, before the sap stopped rising. Managed to get some nice pictures yesterday between showers and before these high winds blow all the golden leaves to the ground
