Weather ... again

It’s been hot and sunny here in the Gard, still 29C at 20h.00 according to Meteo France. Far too hot for me, retreated to the bedroom with aircon on this evening to pack - time to go home!

Not up my end of the Allier.......After a bright sunny morning the clouds and rain moved in and it was unbearably humid.....I think we used to call it 'muggy' .
No. Yesterday was Muggy.
Today is Tewgy
Tomorrow Weggy.
Then Thurgy and so on.

I'll get my coat.

Well, thankfully the worst of what was forecast missed us or didn't happen as suggested. Heavy rain and "small" storm overhead first thing this morning. I saw the radar picture on zoom earth last night said this:

That's intense rain all right! Sent it to daughter who lives in Toulouse, and she sent back a photo of blue skies above them! So, who copped it all this time?!

We had some very heavy rain around 05h30 this morning - lasted about 30-45 mins.

Glad it missed us. But, there are still more storms in the forecast over the next couple of days.

We are copping something very similar this afternoon / evening. Terrible weather, thunder, lightning, hail you name it......

Yep, here we go again. I have been able to get a good bit of gardening in over the last few days - in between showers. Long overdue.

Half the sky is quite dark right now. Other half clear with sunshine..

It’s incredible, every time it has rained here over the last three weeks it’s full of the Sahara. I’m not bothering washing my car again. The car wash is making a fortune.
