Ats cleaned the cobwebs and wall paper from the hallway, I replaced a rotten beam on the ground floor.
We put it up for sale and sold it during lock down.
The origional plan was to convert it into holiday appartments but with covid that would have been a disaster.
Trying to cut down the amount of work we are doing and just buying and selling.

That makes good sense. You've obviously got the experience to see that a tweak or two here and there is enough to make the property more appealing than it was originally.
A torched place is going to smell, though perhaps if it's empty and open to the air for long enough you don't notice it ...

It's easy to put a lot of money into a building. In today's market the cheaper the property the easier it is to sell.
