Remember this is not an issue isolated to the US - Japan, Pakistan and India have all lost PMs or Presidents to public violence.

A sick world - as much as I dislike most politicians they have the same rights to live as I do.

J is right - all politicians have the right to spout their stuff whether nonsense or not.
I worry that this attempt will facilitate Trump's reelection.

Apart from those political leaders who murder indiscriminately thousands of innocent lives.

As for Trump - in one sentence he shouts "fight fight", and in the next he says "let's unite the country".

They're really going to town on the production of "I nearly died today", no wonder there are lots of comments flying around about the whole thing being a set up - despite the loss of an innocent bystander.

Exactly, but his people lap it up. If there was a God, why would he favour someone like Trump over the innocent children that regularly get shot in their schools. Unless that so-called God is a bad person too .......

It seems bizarre to me that they block women's rights to an abortion, even when the fetus is not viable, to "preserve life" - then they stick needles in people (or worse) and kill them as part of the justice system.

Yes - I suspect "revenge" will be his motivation - but the weaponisation of the justice system predates him.
