https://www.francetaxlaw.com/
Not a recommendation from me but they may fit the bill for you?
We recently used them to do our wills.
Seem very knowledgeable & efficient.
Our wills now registered & lodged at their office.
Cost £900. £300 for initial very long phone consultation & £300 for wills, each with English & French versions.
Well worth talking to them

Referring to the above from our esteemed poster LAF, this link seems to associate France Tax Law ,which contains as far as I know a gentleman called Christopher Dutetree or something similar, evidently this person has been struck off by the Law society or whosoever runs the show, for misappropriating clients funds. It has been a long running battle on a couple of so called French Legal Facebook sites, where he has been promoted by certain admins and founders of said sites. For some degree of clarification please see a Facebook group called "the Angie Mountford appreciation society". Having spoken to Erwin Mitchell in the last ten minutes , evidently they will only carry out this will making service for ex pats, IF YOU STLL HAVE ASSETS IN THE UK, check it out before commiting yourselves

Esteemed poster eh!
Dunno about any misappropriating clients funds.
What I do know is that we paid the company via their bank with reference checked & have receipt to this effect.

We have copies of our witnessed wills & a document with references showing their details at the wills registry, ASDN (Activités et Développement au Service du Notariat) plus a letter stating our wills are lodged at the France Tax Law offices for when required.

If you're suggesting it's some sort of scam it seems an awful lot of effort for 900 quid.

I am even getting myself tied up here I have had so many dealings with these bloody wills over the last few months, confusion is settling in. What I am not confused about is that I am aware that France Tax Law, conceals the struck off solicitor / notaire, and Irwin Mitchell will only act as said before if you have assets in the UK, presumably that will be the only part of your estate they can deal with, so the rest is not covered. This has been a bitter experience for me as it has resulted in our imminent return to the UK due to French inheritance and succession laws, and now means a return to rented accommodation, which will see the funds realised from our French house sale slowly drip feeding the extortionate rents demanded in the UK, so by the time we both croak I doubt if there will be much available to share out, children and grandchildren do not take this into their calculations when they are whispering in grannies ear about moving back.

I would not say it is or was a scam LAF, can I be rude and ask if you still have assets in the UK, what I do know is that when making our wills in 2020 it was 300€ for both mine and OH's. This particular person, if indeed the name Dutetrre? means anything to you, has been exposed on several groups as being a bit of a charlatan charging way in excess of the rates published by the notaires association, which last time I looked late last year was about 300€ for a joint will

Our assets are distributed & protected in the countries most beneficial to us in the event that France continues to buck the EU ruling re inheritance of country of birth with this Sharia Law nonsense.
Regarding the costs of our wills; the fees were clearly spelt out to us before we committed to anything ie. £300 each will & £300 for the consultation which at at least 1 1/2 hours was money well spent & given normal legal charges, certainly not what I'd expect from a charlatan.

Just google Christophe Dutettre, makes for good reading, however if you feel happy with the fees and the outcome of your will then that is more important.

Lots of CDs & pages. Couldn't see anything onerous about our guy in first couple of pages
If you think there might be a problem perhaps you could provide a link for me.

There are a couple of these "expert" Facebook Legal groups, the ones where everyone is a qualified whatever, Strickly Legal France I believe is one of them run by a particularly offensive woman known as Angie Mountford. I can't speculate as to the arrangement but anything and everything was, at one time, referred to this Dutettre chap, and then people on the site, asking advice seemed to cotton on to his status. Personally I do not know if he is permitted to practice, I mean do you have to be a qualified and practicing solicitor to provide a will writing service, instinct tells me you don't. Whether in fact he is doing anything wrong is beyond my understanding, but the allegations levelled at him on said website seem tantamount to libel, and surely any solicitor, or notaire would be liable to instigate legal proceedings in support of his reputation.
Another google search for notaire fees for writing a will produces this statement.

The notaire fee for the preparation of a will is regulated, at €136, including VAT (2024). If the notaire prepares the will no charge is payable for the notaire to keep the will in their possession. The procedure requires either two notaires or one notaire and two witnesses.

If you double that for a joint will then at 272€ it falls well short of 900€
