'tis quite astounding how much the Romans spread and then just disappeared. Bizarre.

Some Italians are still like those centurions of old - except this one didn't quite follow the mantra "They came, they saw, they conquered" In relation to my lovely Sister "He saw, he conquered, he came" Never to be seen again when it was discovered she was with child/ Perhaps that's why the Romans fled in the old days.
