Why is it so difficult?

I've messaged Beko, the manufacturers, to ask for a part number giving them model reference, position of clayette in the freezer compartment (there are only 2 & both different sizes) plus an approximate size of the thing.
They've now messaged me back asking for more info so I've given them the product number I found stuck to the machine.
Dunno why it's so difficult but at least they're not ignoring me.
Meanwhile my missus says she likes the plywood replacement I made & can we keep it?
