At the Folkestone end they are offering an exit ticket and a PandO ferry ticket. But getting on a ferry might not be easy.

I wonder if that is what they now offer. They need to be careful - people are already hacked off over lack of carnets - so encouraging people to use P&O may end up with people staying there.

If able I shall wait restart of services. I have 36 bottles of wine and Mrs. N's box of chocolates.

Ditto from me too. We've just come back from Saint Malo and it's extremely windy. The kite surfers are loving it but it's not good for the ferries

Why do the French always strike at holiday time ?

Not just French - any union wanting maximum disruption, maximum effect, it kind of makes sense. Look at all the rail strikes etc. that have been going on in the UK. Often around bank holidays or big events.

Thanks. Now in a non-moving queue for P&O. Eurotunnel have no idea when service resumes so we all get P&O vouchers.

Zero facilities - so my spare light bulb box has been 'reprovisioned'.
