Weather ... again
It was so wet and uneven I had to mow on quite a high setting, so I might try again today. OTOH I may just sit and enjoy the sun with a glass of vino.....

Today looks gorgeous. Yesterday was pretty decent also. However, we will be sure to get out for as much of today as possible as every day for the next two weeks calls for RAIN !!!!!
It really has gotten old for everyone round here. Just not normal. Rain almost every single day since beginning of November. The donkeys next door have a difficult time walking in their field as the mud is so bad. Walking to our mailbox requires water resistant boots !!

when I lived in Holland, the garden level was 4 m under the sea level and I seriously considered keeping an inflatable dinghy in the attic. Now I live 480m above sea level, but with all the rain maybe a good place to build an ark.

Yep, the mowers have come out of hibernation and the first full cut of a client's lawn is hopefully this afternoon. One, very narrow, window of opportunity.
I'll be pressure washing a slimey pathway for someone next week - may as well do that in the rain, as I'll be getting wet anyway!

La Tondeuse never going well and looks like she will be pulled up before the final hurdle. Maybe never seen in public again. Dommage.

Weather ... again
Not having had more than a day without rain here for many weeks cutting the grass is a mere dream. It will need several days without rain and with wind to dry it enough for a cut. Hasn't been done since late November so it is well overdue.
We had a clear blue sky today so I chose to ignore the piles of laurel branches at the roadside and decided to do something different. Replace the anti-roll bar link rods on the wife's Peugeot. They were noticed on the last C.T. and recently they are making a regular rattling noise so I got down to it, in the bitterly cold wind. Done the deed and ended up reaching for the pain killers as expected. Eventually I will get around to replacing the brakes as well. C.T. man said they are binding.

On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.
