It was only founded in May this year so don't have a track record yet.
It is a spin off from another group that had been going for many years.
The experts from that group now run the new group.
They are very knowledgeable in many fields, and give excellent advice.

Of course you have to gather the figures together as without them they cannot know what your income is. The benefit is that they know which boxes to fill in as the forms can change from year to year and if there is a problem it is up to them to correct it. Makes for a hassle free life.
That is the problem. The forms change every year. We do like Hughnique and take the year's total into the tax office and let them do it. Not only hassle free but costs nothing. If there's a problem, its their fault!
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.
I have been quite happy doing my own and now online - which advises of your future payment commitment.
However on my first declaration, which included a (UK tax free) lump sum from my pension which was declared for taxation in France, I was called into the office to explain. The lady was most helpful and amended the declaration which saved a few hundred euros. People should not be afraid of the tax office. My experience is that they are there to help people not to catch them out and sting them for the last centime.
Unless your finances are very complex, I am unsure what benefit an accountant brings.

I dont live near a big city, but I have always found our local tax office very hepfull, but unfortunately, like CPAM the local prefecture, vehical and licencing authority etc etc, over the last 20 years it has reduced from about 15 staff to about 3 even then anything slightly complicated has to wait until two mornings a week, when they get a more senior person from the main office visiting.
Our tax office is in the cente of Angers a 30 minute drive and thenimpossible to park anywhere nearby. Will say when we did visit them years ago they were very helpful

+1 Exile.
We've always found them most helpful but then people who go there aren't trying to buck the system. If you think there is a mistake on either side, it can get sorted out on the spot. Once your file has been ticked, that's it for the year.
We have found that small businesses are terrified of the fisc, even though they're using accountants, in case there is the slightest mistake which could cost them dearly.
