Well I read the above article after I replied - it was initially a funny play on words - at least I thought so.
But doubtless the newspapers tomorrow will do a similar play.

I can't even begin to imagine what it's been like for you and your colleagues - I don't think I would have had the strength of character to carry on tbh.

It’s different when you are in amongst it, you just get on with it .Technically I don’t work with Covid positive patients, but that doesn’t allow for the (several) times someone you have nursed for days suddenly swabs positive,or someone develops symptoms
Also the knock on effect of other beds being full with Covid so you have to nurse the people they would otherwise have cared for. A unit I work on a lot has 8 beds recently we have often had 10 patients sometimes up to 13

We are due for the booster in December, but I am beginning to be alarmed at the reports, via relations of people keeling over several days after they have had it. Don't get me wrong I am not a non believer, but do we really know, once upon a time thalidomide was a wonder drug, now we are using this vaccine, developed in a really short time span, it could be a life saver but on the other hand??

That's what we are led to believe and I know that rumours abound, but I am getting more and more dubious by the day.
