He often returns from the garden covered in sticky buds.
To remove 'em we usually use a doggy comb when all that comes off him is sticky buds.
Brush him as hard as you like & it's rare that any hair comes out which is a blessing as he's the muckiest, diggingest dog I've ever known.
Nothing (sticky buds apart) seems to stick to him for long. Leave him to his own devices & in ten minutes or so all the muck has fallen off by itself, usually on the kitchen settee which gets it's loose covers rotated on a regular basis.
