We had some rain overnight .. witness the puddles on the tiny road outside our house .. and a very quick shower early this morning but, since then, glorious sunshine.
OH and I went for a coastal walk about 15h30 and watched some brave people in the sea plus quite a few youngsters and their families having great fun on the 2 beaches less than 2 kms of our house. Magic.

Very cold first thing but the sun has been shining all day so we've managed to collect lots of wood, cut it and stack it the wood shed.

What temp is the pool? My pond has warmed up considerably from the 10C of recent days to a boiling 11C today. Phew!

Air temp in the shade this morning was 14C.

The wind stopped and at last it's raining.

We've had a couple of short, light showers. I'm still resisting rugging my old horse (33) at night. We've barely seen any sunshine at all today. Temperatures are due to rise here up to 20+ over the next couple of days. So winter is hardly just around the corner ....... yet.
