Reproduced from another FB group I belong to, can't vouch for the authenticity of it, but if true surprised it has not come out.

So... it now comes to light that Rishi Sunak's wife was part owner of Lava Mayfair Club Ltd (a private membership gym), which collapsed last year owing almost £44million to creditors, including £374,000 to HMRC!
Another of Mrs Sunak's ventures... Mrs Wordsmith (an education business) went into administration last year owing £16.3million – after receiving a £1.3million loan from the Government's "Future Fund"!
OH IT GETS WORSE... Digme Fitness (which she owns 100% of) received up to £635,000 of furlough money... before it then closed its eight studios in London and Oxford... still owing HMRC £415,000!
So .... Mr Sunak introduces the furlough scheme ... and the woman he's sleeping with benefits by up to £635,000!
Mr Sunak oversees the rules regarding Non-Dom status ... and the woman he's sleeping with benefits by over £20 million!
Mr Sunak is in charge of ensuring that the UK maximises its tax revenue... yet the woman he's sleeping with has been active in, or has owned, companies going bust owing a staggering £789,000 to HMRC!
Mr Sunak says his wife's tax affairs are none of OUR business...

Yes, heard most of that. Now there's an article (couldn't open it - too many cookies) that basically states how proud India is that one of it's people might soon be in charge of the UK.

Like was hinted at by Penny Mordaunt - how can someone like that be in charge of a country where they have nothing in common with everyday folk? Affluence drips from his pores, he even had to borrow a small car to pretend to put fuel in it!

RS is a clever man, well-educated and married a moneybags so none of that will bother the Tory MPs any more than the dodgy financial and tax position by Mrs S. In fact the Tories seem to thrive on that sort of thing.

I don’t agree with the argument that you have to be poor to understand the problems of the less wealthy. Surely we want somebody guiding the economy that has intelligence, experience and a plan. Especially a plan to tackle inflation.There is too much emphasis on personality and not enough on talent. Starmer is accused of being boring. I don’t mind if he is as long as he is competent. The only two candidates for me are RS and Tugendhat, though if the latter wins he’ll need a good chancellor. Truss looks manic and seems to be modelling herself on MT, even down to the clothing. Maudant looks a lightweight and her track record has some questions . Badenoch talks well and should at least get a cabinet post but doesn’t have the experience or authority to lead. But why am I bothering? It will be the ERG who will decide

Not implying that you have to be poor, but the stinking rich have no idea but helping themselves stay rich. Thanks to Sunak - his own wife did very well from the furlough scheme, then spaffed it away.

ERG is European Research Group the tax payer funded research committee that drove the hard Brexit campaign in the Tory Party. Members include Rees-Mogg, Suella Braverman, Mark Francois, Andrea Jenkins, Penny Mordaunt. They hold a lot of influence
