Watching the programme last night, I noticed a lady doing a bit of cleaning in the bathroom, there she was on her hands and knees with one of those double-sided sponges, with the scourer on one side, cleaning out the bowl on the WC. She was really getting stuck in getting "something" off the interior, I can only hazard a guess as to what it might have been, then I noticed she had no Marigolds or anything else on her hands. She then got up and immediately had her hands all over her face and hair, later in the day she was preparing a barbecue, sliding chicken on to skewers, for guests they were expecting, God forbid that she didn't give her hands a good scrub before doing the grub.

Yes, some strange behaviours on this programme. Also the woman who does the commentary with her " cha-tohhh" pronunciation.

Don't believe all you see. It's a show. Probably an unused dry bowl just fitted or cut for the camera to go and wash up. As it is, there is very little DIY, it gets done by others. All that buggering about with detail odds and sods leaves no time to get the real work done. I know, I've been there as have most on here.

Allegedly, that Angel Drawbridge doesn't do much of what she claims to have done. I am sure it was on this one that a bloke was trying to use a rotovator, he had borrowed from a neighbour, but he said it would not work, blades went round but no good, well it won't work with the bloody wheel still in the down position.
