Sabotage - surely not by the Kremlin?.....

As well as the disruption it's going to cause to goodness knows how many (weren't the first leaks detected on the same day a new non-russian pipeline was opened?), what's this doing to the sealife in the vicinity?

Well, the pipes were not active, although they were pressurised - but I guess it is a warning from Putin that undersea communication cables are vulnerable - say UK to US.

I think it is more likely the US who did it as a warning to the Kremlin following their nuclear threats an annexation. Sanctions are not having sufficient impact so a warning that the US could cut Russia’s main revenue streams. Why would Russia blow them up when it can just turn off the valves
