Great fashion icon of the 60s who died today at the age of 93. I still have 2 of her pairs of striped tights. :(

RIP
I’m afraid I don’t have anything left, but I remember with affection a pair of black plastic boots which had both calf and ankle zips.I wish I’d kept them.

I certainly remember her op art dresses - I even made myself one ! And even had the haircut when I was at school (my mother was furious  )

Ok, own up anyone who wore hot pants ??? I did wear very short skirts but never hot pants

No hot pants here and the skirts were short but not very - I had tree trunks for legs even then 😨😨.

I loved hot pants - hated skirts of any length (still do). Must have spent most of the summer in them. Even wore them to work a few times.

I loved my hot pants too and had 2 pairs with bibs just like dungarees. One pair was lilac suede and the other navy blue velvet. All my skirts were mini minis and I clearly remember making sure I chose pants to match because they would inevitably be on display at some point.

I had a couple of MQ shirt dresses, one black and one op art. I loved them. They were only about 4" above the knee but my father was scandalised. Of course minis became much shorter than that very quickly.

I'll 'fess up (pun intended :D ). The most beautiful pair of black, crushed velvet ones, worn with a white satin 'pirate' shirt and occasionally, silver platform boots. Those were the days......
