I received a letter from Engie, our electricity supplier, announcing good news: I will pay less in 2025
from 0.26500 to 0.19964, that's a 25% decrease!
In 2022, I was happy to see that, thanks to my insulation work, my bills had dropped by 31%. Then the price of kWh increased by 80% (European single market price, Putin, sanctions, gas price, blah-blah-blah...)
Knowing that nuclear electricity is produced at 0.036, that's still a hell of a margin but, hey, a decrease is always good to take...
Champagne? Not yet: let's wait for the next bill to check...

Let's also wait and see what happens after this day: The inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States is scheduled to take place on Monday, January 20, 2025.
