Fascinating! I'll listen more carefully in future IF I ever get my CDs back from the light-fingered progeny :(

@ Mad87, does the tray of your cd player still listen to the commands: open/close? Could be a little problem. A CEO's modern style answer would be: there are no problems, only solutions. Let's try this modern recipe as a problem solver for almost everything (?):

The Analogues.

Sometimes they just need a new belt to get the tray working again. Fiddly to fit but dirt cheap for the belt.

Nothing wrong with the CD player, just the little tea-leaves I bred.
Thank you RA, you've no idea (neither have I) how many hours I spent yesterday jigging about in my office chair and bawling out those songs

Beatles music was/is right up my street. Fabulous tunes and lyrics you can hear. I was classically trained but but I love it all.

Just watched the Sergeant Pepper video on the TV with good sound. Brilliant. Timeless. Thank you.
Watching the drummer reminds me of the time when Paul,or maybe John, was asked if Ringo was the best drummer in the world They' said he's not even the best drummer in the Beatles. :D
