Empty your pockets tonight??
Big night tonight its the annual fundraiser for children in need, hope there is a good choice on the other channels or a Netflix film to watch. It showed you an example of where your, not mine, money was going, some kid "rapping", forgive me I just don't get it, if I did have the desire to contribute, then that example would put me off straight away, absolute din. I am not a great charity fan, parting with money fills me with trepidation, good luck to those that do, if that is your pleasure then so be it, I did make an exception this year and made a £250 donation to Alzheimer's, upon the death of Wifey's lovely auntie, took me some time to recuperate. Bah humbug

There's always crap on TV not sure why you've picked this particular programme over all the rest of the rubbish tbh.

That's good to know Doug, blows the myth that France isn't very charitable.
As for tonight - always plenty to watch on Netflix or Prime. Just depends on what you like.... Is it to be Blacklist, Working Mums, GoodGirls......Mozart in the Jungle, Fringe, Expanse.....Breaking Bad. I rarely watch terrestrial TV anymore.
Excellent, slightly funny films : Army of Thieves - good original twist. Also Red Notice - Ryan Reynolds being, well, Ryan Reynolds!
As for Children in Need - I'm sure most of the money gets well used. Just hope some of the events don't turn into SuperCovidSpreading Events.

Tiger King has started a second season on Netflix. Strange chap is Joe exotic, still in prison for attempting murder.
As for children in need, I can't watch it because it makes me cry.

I am truly surprised at that, given the dearth of charity shops here. We only have one within half an hour's drive, and that is run by English to help abandoned animals.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

The Children in Need annual night is one of the BBC productions which we watch every year. We're watching it right now.
I'm guessing it seems clever to some to be cynical and scornful of it, but the proceeds appear to go to carefully vetted causes which are well portrayed and reported on.
i wouldn't consider watching Netflix or similar as a substitute if you paid me. I certainly wouldn't pay anything to watch any of their offerings from what little I've seen of them.

It's a little strange to boast about being mean, but at least the OP reminded us to donate a little to a very good cause.
