What about the Tetanus booster needle?
I've had three Covid, one Flu & one Tetanus this year & the latter was the only one which was a bit hurty for a couple of days.

All this talk of bigger needles and longer pain is not preparing me well for Tuesday.

Mind you, the last needle they stuck in my back they first gave me some fentanyl - now that was OK.

I'd be genuinely interested to know the thinking of an anti vaxxer. Motivations, reasons etc.

And also the thoughts of those who choose not to wear a mask - or even more strangely, just use a mask as a chin hammock!! Even if their effectiveness - the masks - is minuscule, as long as its positive, it must help protect others, ensure Christmas goes ahead normally, get travel plans back on track and all the other things we want to happen.

If there's anyone one here who sits in those camps, I'd love to know their thoughts.

There's a definite knack to administering vaccinations I've noticed. Yesterday, I felt slight discomfort at the booster needle, but not much. The flu vaccine I had from a medical student at the surgery a few weeks ago I didn't feel at all. She made me put the arm concerned on my hip, which I also did yesterday. Perhaps that helps vis-à-vis muscle interaction/contraction.

For the first two jabs, my doc pinched a lump of muscle then injected. No problem, no ache.
The flu jab, administered by our local nurse was completely painless, but he's brilliant. It was the same when he did my tetanos though that was in the trapezius.
A lot can depend on the person injecting, the size of the needle and the thickness of the product being injected.
