@Oldblueraincoat I have a lot of Sir John Taverner CDs and I'm sure that Steven Isserlis world premiered The Protecting Veil. I absolutely love JT's works especially Song For Athene and thoroughly enjoyed the book The Music of Silence. Many thanks OBR for reminding me - off now to dig out the CDs

When I was about 9yrs the Christmas school play was Ahmal & The Night Visitors - I wanted to be one of the Kings but that was for the 5th formers so I was a page carrying Kaspar's cloak. I was absolutely fascinated with Kaspar's box and the first drawer of magic stones and I still am!
