After tuesdays morning storm, today at 13 hrs we had a humdinger, only 2mm of rain though, now its really unpleasant at 31c humid and yucky.
No storm was forecast, thats this summer.

We had a lovely walk along by the river earlier in the sunshine and heat - then got home and the clouds appeared thunder claps and guess what, yep 'tis raining again.

We have a canicule orange warning till the weekend though it did rain at lunchtime, like a warm shower but full of sand from the Sahara. Thank the Lord for A/C.

No rain here today but heard the distant thunder. Just got back from my 2nd swim, pond temp 20, as I was lowering myself in I got attacked by several horseflies, never seen them in the garden before, so jumped the rest of the way to get rid of them.

I went shopping just before midday, having got the pooh picking out of the way before it got too hot. When I got back in the car it was showing 37C. My preferred temp is around 18-22C, so that was a tad too much. After a blast with the AC though I had cooled enough to get out at home to be met with an absolute blast of heat.

From tomorrow the temps are due to drop again - thank the lord.
