Apple TV - Highly recommended

We have just finished the last episode of the fantastic 'The Shrink next door' with Paul Rudd and Will Ferrel on AppleTV and also thoroughly enjoyed 'Ted Lasso' with Jason Sudekis; a hilarious series about an American football coach who takes on a failing English Premier League football team. These, and other shows on Apple can be watched here in France for less than 5 euros a month - Highly recommended. Oh! and you don't need an Apple device to watch them on - we use Windows 10.

I've just finished watching "Succession" Superb and one of the best series I have seen since the Sopranos

Agree @rabbit This last season was brilliant - fantastic writing and great acting by the whole cast - we hope they will be making another series soon. By the way for anyone reading this it is not on Apple tv, we watched it elsewhere.

@Oldblueraincoat can I ask where did you watch it? We're not on Apple TV. A friend has told us to go around and look at their new box attached to their TV (internet) - apparently it costs £60 a year, they get everything and are really pleased with it. I know nothing more about it but guess it comes from the UK as they said on their recent trip to Gloucester they were embarrassed and shocked - embarrassed cos they wore their masks shocked because absolutely no-one they saw was wearing one - so at the moment and being very risk averse I don't really want to visit them (nor anyone else if I can get away with it!)

@Oldblueraincoat oh sorry I just noticed you use Windows 10 - do you know what I'm sure I'm losing the plot one way or another as yesterday we could smell something burning in the kitchen - I'd only put a hot pan of water in the oven and left the insulating glove on the handle

I then tripped up the stairs cos I'd forgotten to change my soft warm slippers that are a tad too big to my normal size slippers - and just in case you think that I'm mad (

) I have a foot problem and so change my slippers and shoes frequently throughout the day - oh la la I don't like this getting old business.

Agreed that this getting old malarkey can be fraught with unexpected challenges, even some tasks that were easily accomplished previously are now incredibly difficult or nigh on impossible, l cannot get myself up off the floor anymore without help or remember what day it is without asking " is it Thursday today"

. Keep your chin up @Sparkle at least you realised it was the 'wrong pair of slippers.

Back to your query - l have sent you a PM but you can also watch Succession on Amazon Prime by signing up to a streaming channel - l think it's OCS. Hope this helps

@Oldblueraincoat aaah you're very kind and thanks for the info re my query. I can't get up off the floor either as I can't move onto my knees - far too painful so I'm very aware on my daily walk around the village not to topple over. As for the days of the week we know it's one of Mon-Fri days cos the school bus passes through so if we don't see it we know it's Saturday or Sunday
