You taking my name in vain? mysty
Totaly agree about the breakfast, YUK, but then I'm a meusli man, with yoghurt.
Well the Brits are coming over somehow (probably the tunnel)
As we went to Issigeac sunday market this morning and for the first time in months it was packed, after the isolation felt very apprehensive,
But only saw one man with no mask, felt like shouting at him.
Car parks full with a lot on GB cars along with Dutch,Belge, Spanish and many French depts.
Just read on the BBC online that Brittany Ferries are overwhelmed with bookings from this morning.

They must have lost an awful lot of money over the last year or so.

Several of our friends work for Brittany Ferries in various capacities, from crew/engineers to restaurant manager. When BF mothballed half their fleet, many were laid off though I don't know how much they were being paid. Some managed to find temp jobs to earn some extra money - plenty of work going round here.
BF is certainly having financial problems and is hoping for state support...

Coming from the man who breakfasts in McDos that is some condemnation!
However, the issue is that the UK Government only just lifted the quarantine requirements - so two weeks ago when people might have come across to return this week it would have been to a quarantine.

That accounts for a lot.
Never eaten or been in a McDos in my life.

A mcdoos bacon and egg roll or pancake in maple syrup looks better than that, in my humble opinion.niemeyjt wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 5:27 pmComing from the man who breakfasts in McDos that is some condemnation!

You need to get out more. Take some chances. Enjoy the occasional adrenaline rush. I consumed a moderate amount of MuckDoos as a teen and I survived.
Happy Days.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.
