Point taken, but about 80 times cheaper to repair than a Mercedes.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Repairing a Mercedes expensive? To draw on my past experiences it was much cheaper than what friends had to cough up when they had to a pay a ransom for a Peugeot, Simca, Renault or Opel to get it back from their preferred concessionaires.....

Another, older, baleine/Ghostbusters wagon, parked near our house one day. Never seen it since, probably hidden away in someone's remise now. That's what they do in these parts.

By today's standards narrow tires, less fuel consumption and not too bad for snow driving. A sunny day in the Nièvre and in Bergamo, a few years before the outbreak of the killer epidemic.

The Peugeot 404 Familiale: a reliable and roomy car. Not too many survivors to be seen on the French roads: scrapyard or exported to Africa.

A proper estate. Not like the latest ones that will just about swallow a soft holdall in the back due to its "modern" fastback shape.
