I'm so pleased this BBC series has returned.

I love it because it touches on important issues of the 50s and 60s, the acting is superb and usually makes me have a few tears.

I don't like it because as a child growing up in the 60s, having a much older brother and sister, I can remember the music of the times.

I'm also sad that I can't talk about it with my mum anymore, she used to love it too and frequently went to Poplar.

But, well done Call the Midwife

My DiL raves about this - I've not seen it yet, I must remember to have a look next time it's on.
