NoVax JogOffVich

Although I understand he’s appealing (but not to Melbourne residents!)

Well Done Australia!

At last a country that puts its laws and disease prevention above social, economic and political considerations - unlike others I can think of (remember UEFA, COP26 . . .)

Anyway, hopefully he has time to get his two doses before May 16th - what is the current interval between first and second doses?

Assuming he wasn't vaccinated with Sputnik, of course.

Let's hope his appeal is dismissed!

It is going to a full hearing on Monday - and he stays until then.

What we don't know is whether Djokovic has in fact been vaccinated but being anti-vax doesn't want to publicise the fact. Nor do we know whether he has been examined medically and found to have enough anti-bodies to have a natural resistance and therefore doesn't need vaccination. Has he had Covid and been asymptomatic ? He has apparently previously tested positive according to the BBC. Perhaps he cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons ......

Whilst medical confidentiality should be respected, he's a public figure and should be treated the same as everyone else. If he is vaccinated, he would probably have been let in without all the fuss and publicity.
