Well up and running and finally the technical problem seems to have been resolved. Only audio though.
Encouraging that the presiding Judge has emphasised that the letter of the law rather than the intent of the legislator is supreme.
This will make interpretation to the benefit of the plaintiff more plausible.
Bon courage, bonne chance, Novak.
Kelly gives the impression of being fair and sympathetic.

Well indeed m'lud.
Judge agrees that Djokovic provided ample evidence of medical status.
He says he's quite "agitated" by what he's heard so far - says exemption was granted by two separate medical boards in Australia.

Earlier morning session recording.
But no apparent 15:45 AEDT afternoon resumption. Possible bandwidth problem.

So what happened about that event he went to, the same day that he supposedly tested positive for Covid? Did he test after attending the event (where no-one was wearing masks, indoors)? Did they produce an authentic certificate proving that he had Covid, but didn't know until after that event?
Still stinks, as he obviously thinks he's on a higher plane and doesn't need to follow rules.
The show is not over yet though, still waiting for the Fat Lady to sing.

There seems to be an anomaly with the dates. News last night said Novacc's Postive Test was same day as a public event, but in this interview, and this photo, there's a day's difference:
"He told the interviewer that he tested positive for Covid twice - in June 2020 and on 16 December 2021. Copies of his positive PCR tests were provided to the interviewer - one was issued on the 16 December 2021, a day before Djokovic appeared at public events without a mask." So, what the heck was he doing attending such an event if he knew he had Covid???? It don't add up!

Yep - I thought Australia was better than that - seems the plebs have different rules there as well. Still, the Minister can still withdraw the Visa - but sadly I suspect political considerations will take precedence over the health issues.Bayleaf wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 8:25 am So what happened about that event he went to, the same day that he supposedly tested positive for Covid? A Russian pharmacist friend won't touch it - but then I guess she knows the background to its production which we don't - she says what was "approved" is not what gets stuck into arms and that there are issues over the culturing / filtration / purification of the vaccine.
