Interestingly, some bloke on the TV news last night said he'd economise by using his bke more. What? A Frenchman economising rather than demonstrating?
Is that because OH normally does it - or because you drive so little?

If the latter, with modern fuels you might be advised to put in some fuel stabiliser as the shelf life isn't what it used to be.
With my van and wife's car we have only used less than half a tank in either of them so far this year. We don't get out much I guess.

A few months after we arrived in France, a French friend took us to Clermont Ferrand to buy a s/h Laguna diesel. He then instructed us to follow him to the Leclerc supermarket - 'We can fill up there, it should still be just under 3 francs a litre'.

I filled up today - was down to fumes & was so happy to get some fuel with only a 5 minute queue that I didn't even look at the price! (Am in UK).

I noticed on Thursday that premium petrol is over 2 chuffs a litre.

Quite a few appear to have no turn indicators as well.

We filled both our cars a few days ago, about €1.45 a litre. Won't have to top up until some time next year. :D
