Meat Loaf had died
With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.........The Corpse Bride

Meat Loaf had died
That's one iconic rock star!

Found him a bit scary, but we played his most famous album 'til it was worn through! I remember someone had it on tape, in their ghettoblaster (remember those?!), and he'd carry it on his shoulder while a group of us ambled up to town during College lunch hour. All "singing" along at the top of our voices. Crazy, brilliant days!
R.I.P. Mr Meat Loaf - the beauty of when musicians/singers die, their music will live on forever ....

Meat Loaf had died
Saw Meatloaf a number of times on his visits to The Wembley Arena. Powerful, exhilarating and exhausting - great stuff.
I read once that "Total Eclipse of he Heart" was written by Jim Steinman for Meatloaf but one of their falling-outs resulted in it being offered to Bonnie Nil Points Tyler. If you run it through your head you can see/hear him doing it.
Amongst his other albums, I have 5 copies of the "Bat Out of Hell" album - two x CDs, one at each house, and three on USBs, one in each vehicle. I think it's safe to claim that I am a fan and never go anywhere without him.

Meat Loaf had died
Many years ago the company I worked for installed a gym for all it's employees. I used the treadmill for 3 playing's of this song on my portable tape deck. Sure that was around 25 minutes but it was a long time ago!
