Inspired by the Trucker protests in Canada - expect similar around Paris today.

They are on their way to Belgium apparently.

Not sure what they hope to achieve - the Canadians were protesting about Covid vaccine rules preventing them from working - which I don't think applies in France.

Seems just another instance of the silly gillies wanting a bit of letting off steam.

From the interviews I've seen/heard, these worthies are also protesting the cost of living, energy, fuel, etc., while slowly driving their huge motorhomes hundreds of miles accross France.

Apparently, in New Zealand they have deployed Barry Manilow to disperse the protesters outside Parliament.
