My apricot trees are on the point of flowering. Much better than last year - they flowered at the beginning of January! We were lucky and missed the horrible late frosts. Hoping we don’t get them this year.

My tête -a-tête daffodils are now flowering and I heard yet more grue heading north at 6.30 this morning when I took Raffi out.

Well the snowdrops are just beginning to push up out of the ground. They won't be in flower for a couple of days yet but it is a sign of things warming up - unlike the sleety snow we had this morning.

Apart from the mimosa the cherry blossoms are out. It’s been unseasonably warm.

Managed to get to these crocuses I spotted yesterday just as Storm Dudley is kicking in sadly they will probably be gone by tomorrow

@Pathca Those crocuses are lovely. Ours were only planted at the end of last year so are not very prolific yet !

They are by the local war memorial,with the wreathes still on the plinth it’s always very poignant

I saw a triangle of grues, is that a good sign? They were heading north
